Failure is a part of life.
I learnt this in my first year at university, when I was rejected from a spring week with Goldman Sachs. However, instead of seeing this as a setback, I decided to use it as an incredible opportunity to develop my resilience.
I named my alarm ‘Rise and Grind’, and I woke up at 3am every day. I did yoga in front of the mirror, while chanting the phrase: ‘I am confident. I am an entrepreneur. I am literally the best.’ I developed an innovative delivery system of caffeination, in which I snorted pure coffee powder so that I could keep working on my hustle.
Since then, I’ve bought my first London townhouse, and I have over £3 billion pounds in my Monzo account. I also founded a tech start-up, which produces pogo sticks that are connected to an app.
Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can come together.
