I honestly don't know what a “Decanter Set” is, but I was immediately drawn to the beautiful crystal glass twinkling in “the Hanger”, so bright it almost blinded me.
What really caught my eye was the UCL200 logo embossed all over both the packaging and the glassware, which is a really smart decision because everyone loves the UCL200 logo.
This logo has gone down very well with the general student body.
Surely UCL will not regret plastering it all over 3,000 t-shirts which they’ll have to give to freshers when the heating isn’t working in next November. Where was I?
When I took the box to the till, the staff stared at me in bewilderment. “Are... Are you sure?” They said, all two of them coming to admire the box and stroke the pretty glass, “we’ll have to dust it off for you. The only person who’s bought one is Michael Spence.”
As I carried my treasure home, I felt nothing but pure satisfaction. I immediately threw my flatmate to the side in my eagerness to rush to the kitchen and fill my new decanter set with Vimto.
Sitting in my armchair and feeling very proud of myself while basking in the light of Roku City, I sipped away at my drink, feeling the power of UCL200 surge through my veins with every gulp.
I did, however, only get the one drink out of it, as it smashed in my dishwasher.
Since then I’ve been pulling glass out of my teeth for weeks.
10/10 would buy again. Thank you, Michael Spence.
