Hi there Fr-iend-esher! Have you got any questions about coming to UCL?

Oh, hello. Yes, sorry, this is UCL then?

Yes! This is UCL – welcome friend!

No, sorry, not UCL. UCL?

Pardon?

I’m looking for UCL, as in Université catholique de Louvain – French-speaking Belgium’s largest University.

Oh, this isn’t UCL as in Université catholique de Louvain, French speaking Belgium’s largest University. This is UCL, as in University College London.

Oh, I see.

Actually, I have some questions for you now. When did you realise you were at UCL as in University College London and not UCL as in Université catholique de Louvain?

Just now, when I was talking to you.

I see. So how was it you came to be here at this Freshers’ Fair today?

What I think might have happened was that I put ‘UCL’ into Google Maps, and instead of taking me to my desired location of UCL as in Université catholique de Louvain, in Louvain , Belgium; it must’ve got a little confused, as we did, between UCL as in University College London and UCL as in Université catholique de Louvain and hence I’ve been directed to here at UCL as in University College London in London instead of going to UCL as in Université catholique de Louvain where I wanted to go.

Wow! Quite the pickle.

If you ask me, UCL as in University College London and UCL as in Université catholique de Louvain both need to buck their ideas up, and fast, before any more people are maimed in this ongoing catastrophe of confusion between UCL as in Université catholique de Louvain and UCL as in University College London.

You took the UCLs right out of my UCL !

Ahahah UCLhaha UCLahhahah UCL!

Ha UCLhahaha UCLhahaha UCL!

I must get back to UCL as in Université catholique de Louvain, as it’s a UCL way away from UCL as in University College London. Have a UCL day!

UCbye!
