It’s been a huge night for UCL’s Badminton Club, named 2025 Club of the Year and whose Captain Alina Phang bagged the title of Captain of the Year.

Elsewhere, some of the biggest names on campus – Sports Officer Jack Sibeon and Dodgeball Club’s Elisia Swaby (and former Goldsmidian) – were named Honorary Life Members of the Union.

Meanwhile, Trisevgeni Papakonstantinou and Joe Donaghue – who plays for GB Fencing – have been named Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year respectively.

Some 160 athletes were also awarded a commendation, colour, centenary, or sporting excellence. You can find the full list of nominees right here.
